It explains the aim of the project, the steps taken towards its implementation, the conditions on the event day, and its overall significance. This event was planned and executed by a Student Executive Committee in which Japanese-descent-Brazilian students played leading roles. The event activities included a joint dance presentation by students of a local Brazilian chool and our university students, a mini-concert by a Brazilian musician and his students, food tasting of Brazilian snacks, and games for hildren. These activities created the opportunity for a cultural exchange among our university students, Japanese residents who live in amamatsu and nearby areas, and Brazilian families.
