It is often disputed about how to give adequate considerations for the natural environmental or ecological effects of projects through the planning process. In the process, a route of corridors will be determined in the Federal Sectoral Planning before planning approval, by the Bundesnetzagentur according to the Grid Expansion Act（2011）.
