During the period, a joint research taskforce was established within the SUAC, and fundamental research on extraction of theoretical concepts of Sustainable Design, examination of case studies, and determination of essential subjects in our field were conducted. SD symposiums were held several times, which served as the occasion of information exchange and dissemination to a wider audience.},
