The spatial composition, in which a “multi-story arcade” covers the public walkway facing the shopping street, is a unique architectural feature among fireproof building zones that were later developed nationwide. On the other hand, due to the large number of stakeholders and the complexity of their relationships, related documents are dispersed, making it difficult to grasp the full scope of the project—posing an archival challenge.
