The results indicated that although Japanese and foreign residents shared the same living space, they had different perceptions about similar phenomena. Foreign residents were more active in mingling with their neighbors and wanted to have more contact with Japanese residents. The Japanese residents had a stronger tendency to regard everyday problems in the housing complex as being "foreigner related" problems. On the other hand, when the foreign residents recognized "problems," they tended to believe those were also common to Japanese residents. The possibility of mutual understanding and interaction between Japanese and foreign residents from the perspective of multicultural coexistence is discussed.}, pages = {61--78}, title = {多文化化する公営住宅における居住者の意識 : 焼津市T団地の事例分析}, volume = {5}, year = {2005}, yomi = {フクオカ, ヨシハル and イケガミ, シゲヒロ} }
