 note = {P(論文), 現在の日本の林業は経営的な危機に直面し、その結束森林の荒廃が進んでいる。その原因として海外からの廉価な木材の大量輸入、需要を上回る針葉樹の植林、人件費の高騰により手入れが行き届かない人工林などがある。これらの問題は単に林業の問題に留まらず、土砂の流出、土壌の低下など国土保全としての障害にまで広がってきている。国内座木材利用のケーススタディとして、針葉樹である檜の丸太でベンチなどの造形物を制作した。樹木の基本形態である円筒形をそのまま利用し、素材の持つ造形や表情を生かすよう考慮した。, At present, Japanese forestry is facing a management crisis, and as a result devastation of the forests is under way. A mass import of cheap lumber from overseas, afforestation of conifers surpassing demand, and artificial forests which are not carefully maintained because of soaring labor costs, are among the causes. These are not only forestry problems but also obstacles of national land conservation, such as an outflow of earth and sand, and a decrease in soil quality. As a case study of using domestic wood, I have made a bench and so on, with a hinoki log (Japanese cypress) which is a conifer tree. I have effectively made the efficient use of the natural cylindrical shape of the logs.},
