Blogging system can be regarded as one of the contents management system. This paper describes the application of the blog for supporting lectures of computer literacy. Materials of the lecture are presented to students using a blog. Attendances, remarks and questions from students are collected utilizing a commenting function of the blog. Benefits and characteristics of the blog compared to the web-based BBS (bulletin board systems) for supporting lectures are discussed.},
