| 内容記述 | 1848年にヴァイマルの宮廷楽長に就任して以降、フランツ・リスト（1811-86）は数々の記念祭や音楽祭に携わっていった。本稿はそのうち、ヴァイマルで行われたドイツ古典主義の英雄たちを称える4つの記念祭、ゲーテ生誕100年記念祭（1849）、ヘルダー生誕記念祭（1850）、ゲーテ生誕101年記念祭（1850）、そしてもっとも盛大に行われたカール・アウグスト大公生誕100年記念祭およびヴィーラント、ゲーテ＝シラー記念碑除幕式（1857）を取り上げ、リストが宮廷楽長あるいは/そして作曲家という立場で果たした役割を考察する。リストは古典主義文化が栄えた黄金時代を振り返り、巨匠たちを称える一連の祝典行事を遂行しつつ、当時最先端の音楽プログラムを差し出したり、あるいは自身の創作を「実験的」に配置したりすることで、古典主義と現代音楽の共存という新たな文化的繁栄の時代をもたらしたといえるだろう。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Since his appointment as Hof-Kapellmeister to the Weimar court in 1848, Franz Liszt （1811–86） played a central role in numerous music festivals and commemorations held in Weimar. This paper examines four key events honouring the heroes of German Classicism: the Goethe Centennial （1849）, the Herder Memorial Festival （1850）, the 101st Anniversary of Goethe's Birth （1850）, and the grand celebrations of the 100th anniversary of Grand Duke Carl August's birth, along with the unveiling of the Wieland, Goethe-Schiller monuments （1857）, and analyses Liszt's contributions as court conductor and/or composer to each of these events. Through these commemorative festivals, Liszt not only reflected on the golden age of classical culture in Weimar and paid tribute to its great masters, but also, by introducing innovative musical programmes and “experimenting” with his own new compositions, he fostered a new era of cultural flourishing that bridged classical traditions and contemporary music of the time. | |||||||||||
