| 内容記述 | 少子高齢化の進むわが国では、高齢者が地域社会の担い手になることが期待される。高齢者の社会参加を促すものとして芸術文化活動の重要性は高まっているが、いまだ個人の問題として扱われがちである。本研究では近年注目されつつあるシニア演劇を題材に、高齢者の芸術文化活動を地域社会との関わりの中で捉え直し、その社会的な意義を明らかにすることを目的とする。調査対象は大阪府箕面市の劇団「すずしろ」とする。同劇団は、設立に行政が関与した点と、プロ俳優が指導する点に特徴があり、ニューヨーク公演や全国シニア演劇大会の実施などの特筆すべき実績を持つ。調査方法は劇団および行政へのインタビュー調査である。 事例分析では中川幾郎の「自治体文化政策基本モデル」を参考に、「蓄積」「表現」「交流」の3つの視点から、劇団および行政の成果と課題を整理した。その結果、「蓄積」「表現」の側面では一定の成果を上げていることが分かった。具体的には、団員の意識が地域社会に向けられるようになったこと、公演を通じて他の高齢者に影響を与えていること、市の知名度向上に寄与していることなどが挙げられる。一方、「交流」の側面では課題もあった。劇団が地域に開かれた存在になるために、他世代や他団体との交流を促進する必要性が浮かび上がった。 事例調査・分析から、地域社会においてシニア演劇が担う役割として5つの可能性を指摘した。(1)社会参加のきっかけをつくること (2)他の高齢者のロールモデルになること (3)高齢社会の問題を地域で共有する場になること (4)シティ・プロモーションの役割を果たすこと (5)演劇文化の振興に寄与することである。最後にシニア演劇の発展条件として、高齢者、演劇人、行政の果たすべき役割をそれぞれ指摘した。 |

| Abstract | ||||||||
| The aim of this paper is to show the social value of the senior theatre company from the perspective of cultural and artistic activities in the local community. The author surveys Theatre Company "Suzushiro” based in Minoh City. The survey is mainly through interviews with the company members and administrative agency. The author analyzes the object from three aspects: "accumulation”, "performance”, and "interaction", proposed by Ikuo Nakagawa. This study reveals that the members develop their consciousness of the local community and that their performances have a good influence on the other elderly people. It also shows that the theatre company is required to expand an active exchange between generations and social interaction with other groups. In conclusion the author suggests the following five possibilities of the senior theatre company: 1. providing a chance for the members to strengthen community relationships, 2. presenting a role model for the older generation, 3. providing a good place for sharing the common problems of the aged society, 4. contributions for improving the city’s image, 5. fruitful developments of the theatrical culture. |
