| 内容記述 | 大学新入生の心理的適応におよぼす家族および友人のソーシャル・サポートと達成動機の影響を検討した。福岡(2000)の枠組みを踏襲しつつ、本研究では精神的健康度を含め2時点においてこの問題を検討した。247名の大学新入生から得た入学後3ヶ月時点でのデータを分析した結果、主として友人のサポートが自己充実的な達成動機を高めることで大学新入生の学業および大学生活全般についての意欲低下を防ぐ効果をもつこと、また家族および友人のサポートが精神的健康を支える効果をもつことが示された。また、 3ヶ月時点の回答者のうち127名から得られた入学後9ヶ月時点でのデータでも、同様の分析結果が得られた。ただしこれらの回答者はやや授業に対する意欲が高い傾向にあり、再検討の余地を残すものであった。これらの結果をふまえ、大学新入生における環境移行への心理的適応過程に対する今後の検討の方向性を考察した。 | |||||||||

| 内容記述 | The effects of social support by family and friends, as well as the effects of achievement motivation on psychological adaptation of new university students were investigated. Following the model developed by Fukuoka (2000), the effects of entering a university, including the mental health conditions of students, were sampled in 247 new university student participants at three months and nine months after entrance. Analysis of data sampled at three months indicated that support by friends is effective in preventing the motivational decline of new students for studying and living activities, through improving self-fulfilling achievement motivation. It was also shown that support by family or friends are effective in maintaining their mental health.The same result was obtained from data sampled from 127 participants of the original sample at nine months after admission. However, these results might have to be reconsidered because students who participated in the study had higher motivation for learning.The direction of future studies on psychological adaptation of new university students to environmental changes is discussed. | |||||||||
